This will be a fun one for us to watch but the racers don't seem to be having much fun. Windy jumps at the top, crazy speed, no line choice, stupid rubber mats, and an X games finishing feature. Glad to see they're unionizing. This was the perfect track/race to reveal that to the press.

just look up the timing table, they have top speeds listed for every rider, G's topspeed was at 59kph while overall being the fastest rider down the hill with over 1sec ahead of the elites...mind blowing 💥

Yeah they use this rubber mats all over the bikepark on ladder bridges and stuff, I never quite understood why though since I'd rather deal with exposed wood even if it is slippery when wet than that stuff which is just wonky
@@DanArnets1492 Yeah I would understand it if was on a rainforest but I've been at vallnord more than a dozen times and I've always had bone dry conditions, so I don't feel it's justified, just having a wire mesh on the boardwalk would do the job just fine and it wouldn't feel like so bad.
